One of the challenges of traditional implants is bone loss and finding a suitable spot on the jaw to anchor the titanium rod of the implant.

If there is not enough bone mass in the desired area, you would have to undergo a bone grafting procedure. After a period of recovery, you would come in again and have a second surgery to install the dental implants.
